Stand-up for Humans

For the third year in a row, the “Stand-Up for Humans” Comedy Tour has wrapped on an incredible week at Climate Week NYC 2024.
We brought together climate advocates, comedians, scientists, and our climate-obsessed community to help un-bummer the climate change conversation with three hilariously engaging events packed with both jokes and real, actionable insights.

  • Haha-Pothesis at Caveat: A science and comedy showcase featuring Dr. Ticora V. Jones in partnership with NRDC, where Kyle Marian and a team of hilarious performers, The Climate Codeswitch, discussed  how we can save our own butts by thinking about our toilet tissue issue.

  • Sip & Solutions at Farm One: Hosted by Zero Waste NYC combined climate conversations with live comedy, offering a fun new take on sustainability and solutions.

  • Marketplace of the Future at Spring Studios: A lively finale featuring comedians like Pete Dominick, Harris Alterman, and Robert Mac, who helped us envision a hopeful, sustainable future…and had us all dying of laughter.

Our talented lineup included Pete Dominick, Brad Einstein, Ophira Eisenberg, Robert Mac, Nate Russ, Pratima Mani, Kyle Marian, and Harris Alterman, all bringing their unique voices to amplify the climate message through the power of comedy. Together, we laughed, we bonded, and we even learned something along with hundreds of attendees dedicated to fighting the good fight for our climate.

earth day

In 2024, we celebrated with House of Yes at their Earth Love Fest - a dynamic eco-block party that drew in more than 3,000 eco-enthusiasts.  At the event we participated in the “Reimagining Environmentalism” panel and collaborative art installation, worked with content creators to share our unique stickers on Giphy and Instagram stories, and hosted live performances by Nathan and Hilla the Earth, whose music encouraged positivity and action.
