Most conversations about the climate crisis are pretty freakin’ apocalyptic. There’s a lot of coverage about how badly things are going. And, yeah, ok, we’ve got a big mess on our hands. The problem is that this kind of conversation motivates zero people. And we’re not going to turn things around if we’re all paralyzed by fear or, worse, pushed to denialism.

We thought we’d try a different kind of conversation. A conversation to motivate people from joy rather than fear. So, for our first live event at Climate Week New York, we hosted a comedy show. And we invited planet Earth herself to MC. 

Here’s what happened:

There is such a thing as climate comedy, believe it or not. And we laughed at humans, because we’re hilarious.
